Can I register after registration closes?
No - in order to create teams and start the season in a timely manner, we do not allow registration after the deadline.
Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund?
Yes - prior to the start of games, you can request and receive a full refund.
Team Creation
Can my child be on a team with friends/neighbors?
We will accommodate up to 4 player requests per team on a first come, first served basis. Any requests must be indicated in your registration form.
Can my child be placed on a team with a specific practice day?
Practice days are determined by the head coach. The only way to ensure your child's team practices on a certain day is to serve as the head coach.
If my child is placed on a team that practices on a day my child can't attend, can my child be moved to a different team?
We will accommodate change requests where possible or provide a refund if a change cannot be made.
Gear
What does my child need in order to participate?
Each child should have their own soccer cleats, soccer ball (size is based on age group - see rules for details https://www.homersoccer.org/page/show/7239964-rules), shin guards, and a water bottle.
The league provides a uniform that the player keeps (jersey, shorts, soccer socks).
Can my child wear jewelry?
No jewelry is allowed - if a child has newly pierced ears, the piercings must be covered with tape.
Game Day
How will I know if games are canceled?
You will receive an email from the league at least 30 minutes prior to the start of gameday.
Why would a game be canceled?
If weather or other conditions make the playing or spectating area unsafe, games will be cancelled.
If a game is canceled, is there a make-up game?
The first cancelation of the season is not made up; second and subsequent games will be made up at the end of the season.
